I’m a big fan of goals. But I don’t think they should be reserved for the new year. What pressure!

Coming off of a holiday season full of cookies, less work, packed schedules, and quality time with those we love… into a cold, dark, seasonally depressing time of year? I prefer a slow start to my new year. 

That said, I do set intentions for the year, I like to review how I’ve done, I like to plan and dream. I like to track my progress to those goals. But I love to do that all while giving myself grace for everything I’m managing in a year. I hope you give yourself that same grace!

I know so many people put tremendous pressure on themselves as they set new years resolutions and promise fresh starts for every area in their life.

I’ve hand lettered the phrase, ‘New Year, Same Me’ for this new year design. It’s simple, to the point and totally fun. I’ve shown it here as a New Year shirt SVG using iron-on vinyl, but it would make the perfect planner covers or planner stickers… or even new years wine glasses to celebrate with the girls on New Year’s Eve.
