Pair with DIY friendship bracelets to complete the Taylor themed valentines gift!
I’m sure it’s no surprise to you… Taylor Swift is trending this year! I don’t share much about my personal life here on the blog but I’m a big fan… you could call me a Swiftie 😉 I was lucky enough to attend the Era’s tour with my own friends last summer and now that the Eras tour is coming to Canada, I’m excited to be going again… this time with my niece and daughter.
It’s been so fun for us to bond over Taylor swift and all the fan theories, best lyrics, themed outfits and perhaps most of all, friendship bracelet making.
I’ve been busy creating printable pack after pack of free printable valentines cards this last week- you can see even more of the printable selection of valentines at the bottom of the post. And since we’re sharing personal tidbits in this post today, two of the valentines cards I’m sharing this year are pretty much a cutesy version of tattoos I have. Can you guess which one from this set I might have? Haha!
While I was taking requests from the kids for printable valentines designs, my daughter (and I’m sure thousands of other little girls) requested Taylor Swift valentines to hand out to her friends at school.
Her and I worked together, her suggesting song lyrics and me lettering them while she approved each design. We got a bit carried away and ended up creating 3 pages of these printable paper cards making for 27 different TS Valentines cards to choose from in shades of red and pink with white hand lettering.
Now that these are ready to go, we’ll be spending our Sunday watching the Super Bowl and Travis Kelce (or ‘Taylor’s boyfriend’ as my daughter prefers to call him) while beading friendship bracelets… and maybe wearing red sweaters IYKYK;)
There are affiliate links included in this post where I share links to buy products I’ve used here. Of course, you don’t need to use these to use the free printables, they’re just meant to be helpful 🙂 You can see all of my policies here.
I created these simple printable cards to print 9 to one page. They’re small enough that you can easily pop them in valentines card boxes and big enough to hold a friendship bracelet around the bottom of the card. You can use a piece of washi tape to hold the bracelet on if you’re making bigger bracelets (that’s what I did for my friends!
The 27 phrases and song lyrics on the arch shaped valentine cards include:
- You’re the Valentine of my wildest dreams
- It’s me, hi! I’m your Valentine it’s me!
- I am enchanted to be your Valentine
- It’s a love story
- Valentine, you’re my my my lover
- In my Valentine era
- Sparks fly this Valentines
- Valentine, we never go out of style -xo
- Friends forevermore
- You belong with me, Valentine
- Wreck my plans, Valentine
- You make the whole place shimmer, Valentine
- Are you ready… to be my Valentine?
- Can I ask you a question? Will you be my Valentine?
- Hey Valentine, you’re the 1.
- At tea time, everybody agrees you’re the best, Valentine
- Hey Valentine, you’re the man
- I’ll save you a seat, Valentine
- You’re so gorgeous
- Happy Valentines day, lover
- Meet me at midnight, Valentine
- Hey Valentine, your’e the king of my heart
- Happy Valentine’s day, Swiftie
- I wanna be your end game, Valentine
- Love you to the moon and to Saturn
- Happy Valentine’s Tay
These free printable Valentine cards are specifically designed to be paired with friendship bracelets like shown, but you could definitely mix it up and use them for other little favor gifts for a school Valentine’s day party. Ideas? You got it!
You could add some candy hearts in a little bag, heart shaped chocolates or Taylor swift vinyl stickers (you can get an affordable sticker set here). I’d also love to gift these to my own friends with enamel pins or Taylor stars like the Folklore Cardigan to iron on to the arms of their own sweater (like these).
If you’re loving the idea of friendship bracelets but just don’t have the time to make your own, you can buy sets here.
Since they have some blank space at the bottom of the card for you to include your party favor (like a friendship bracelet!), you don’t need to purchase cellophane bags to gift with these printable tags… I mean, unless you’re choosing candies that don’t have wrappers of their own!
TIP: Get your kids to write the names on the printable Taylor Swift Valentines cards before you package them up with any little Valentine’s day treats to keep them easy to write on.
Why friendship bracelets for Taylor Swift Valentines?
Friendship bracelets and Taylor Swift are like peanut butter and jelly these days, but it’s actually been a thing for way longer than the Eras Tour!
Throwing it wayyy back, Taylor received friendship bracelets during her 13 hour meet and greet back during Fearless (her second album, released in 2008) and she also handed out her own bracelets during live shoes and secret sessions. She wore them again during promo for her Lover album and many fans would bring them to past tours of her as well.
But this became a massive trend for the Eras Tour, inspired by the lyrics from her song, ‘You’re on Your Own Kid’ from her Midnights Album (2022), “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it, You’ve got no reason to be afraid”.
Fans would show up with sometimes hundreds of bracelets to trade at the tour itself, and since then we’ve traded bracelets at any TS related event from the Eras Tour in Theatres (movie) to pub trivia nights that come with a Taylor Swift theme.
You can put the album names, just Taylor Swift or TS, or song lyrics. You can shorten song lyrics to acronyms as well to make the most of your non-vowel beads.
My kids love to share them with their friends as well, they’re definitely popular right now. You can buy beads to make your own on Amazon, at local craft stores or dollar stores or from specialty stores. This mix pack from amazon is a pretty good starter pack.
Here’s the specific beads for friendship bracelets I have from Amazon:
- White beads with black letters
- White beads with numbers
- White beads with specific letters (I bought E and A as well)
- 6mm seed beads
- Mix of gold beads
- Colorful letter beads (gold letters)
- Elastic cord for bracelet making
If you’re making bracelets with kids, it’s a good idea to have some kind of clip to throw on the end of the bracelet cord to prevent the beads from sliding off of the ends.

What’s the best way to print these free Valentines?
You can print these free valentine’s cards any way you like, but I have a couple suggestions for the best results!
While every free printable is different, these printable cards are simple 8.5×11″ PDF documents which makes them incredibly easy to print at home or at your local print shop. They will print just like a document, without special settings like a photo.
I prefer to print any gift tags or greeting cards like these Taylor Swift themed valentines on a thick paper like white cardstock (I have this card stock at home right now). They look more professional than regular computer paper and hold up better to being passed out this way, much like a store-bought quality card.
You could go even thicker if you’re having them printed professionally and want them to hold up to a stretched bracelet even better.
I’ve designed this printable file to be double sided with space for your child (or you!) to write names on the back of the cards. Make sure you select double sided when you send it to print!
The background does take quite a bit of color ink so if I were printing off a bunch of these free TS valentine cards… I’d send them to the print shop. I printed off two sets and all 27 to make sure we had enough for our family to hand out to their Swiftie friends.
If I just wanted to print a page or two though, I’d definitely do it at home. There’s really no need for ‘professional’ valentines cards, especially if you’re handing these out as classroom valentines!
You can use a paper cutter instead of scissors for the long straight parts to help the cutting of these files go quickly but the rounded arches will need some scissor work.
We have a slider style paper cutter like this craft one at home that my kids like to use (paper cutters are way more fun than scissors to little hands!). Since the slider doesn’t detach easily and the blade is really tiny, I feel comfortable even letting my small kids use it for this sort of project.
Alright! I’ll leave it at that- I hope that you enjoy these hand lettered Taylor Swift printables for Valentine’s day! It’s such a fun printable classroom valentine card to share this year… right on trend!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
