If you’re looking for some fun printable spring jokes to share with your kids or classroom- this is for you! Today I’m sharing a spring themed free printable set for you to download and print for your class, your kids, or… well, whoever you know loves a good dad joke!

I had so much fun designing this set of funny jokes for spring time- really… a great time, my kids have never been so invested in what I include in a printable- ha! I hand lettered the ‘spring jokes’ and illustrated the laughing emoji. Then I chose some spring colours for backgrounds and added the jokes in an easy-to-read font for little ones. I decided to add a full black and white version if you’re printing at home and hoping to save on printer ink.

The black and white ones would be fun for little ones to color in as well to stretch these free printable jokes into an activity.

How to download the free printable Spring Lunch box Jokes

To download this set of spring printable jokes in both black and white and color is so simple. To get these PDF digital files directly delivered to your inbox, just enter your email address in the box below and I’ll send you a confirmation email. Clicking the button in the email will open the PDF file up directly.

These 6 pages are in one PDF format document. Some browsers will automatically start a download and in others you will need to right click and select ‘save’. It should save the springtime jokes digital download to your downloads folder to make them easy to find for printing.

What’s the best way to print free printables

You can print free printables any way you like, but I have a couple suggestions to make the most of them! While every free printable is different, these ones are simple 8.5×11″ PDF documents which makes them incredibly easy to print at home or at your local print shop. They will print just like a document, without special printer settings like a photo.

I like to print most printables on card stock but you could definitely just print on regular ol’ printer paper / plain copy paper.

I’ve designed this printable to have a color version but also a black and white version so you can save on printer ink. The only color is in the background so you don’t lose any of the hand lettered details or illustration. Once they’re printed you can cut them apart into different cards and slip one of these funny spring jokes into your kiddos lunch box each day this spring season.

Depending what you’re planning to use them for… you could laminate to help them last even longer! If you’re using these silly spring jokes as lunch box notes for spring, you could laminate them then use them again next year- just pack them away with your spring decorations or easter supplies! If you are going to do this, you could give kids washable markers to color right on them. They’ll wipe clean like dry erase markers!

It would also be fun to have a clip for a joke a day and replace them each day in a classroom- laminating them would be a great way to make sure you could use them year to year as well!

My kids and I had the best time creating these cards- they had strong opinions on the best spring jokes for these free spring printables so these are perfect for the whole family. Honesty- we had so much fun sharing our best jokes for spring on a long drive last weekend- it’s a great way to kill time on a road trip 😉 They’re big fans of silly jokes -I hope they give your family a good laugh just like they did for mine!
