This year when I asked my kids what types of cards they’d like to hand out for valentines day at school, my son told me he just wanted simple valentines cards that say, ‘happy valentine’s day’. Not a funny pun saying how much he likes everyone or asking anyone to be his valentine or a card expressing his valentine’s day love being out of this world.

He wanted a simple card and didn’t care which color or shape or design… only that it was a basic valentine greeting. You got it, kid! 

Typically I’d tell him to pull out the construction paper and design his own card… but now that I have a site full of free printable card templates… I figured it was the perfect opportunity to not just create a boring ol’ design but a suite of fun valentine’s cards with a few color scheme options and a modern feel. 

So today I’m excited to share these printable valentine’s day cards as a free download with you! This is the 9th valentine card I have shared this year… you can see them all at the bottom of this post!

They’re perfect for older kids that don’t want to find the right words in a pack of childish valentines cards, but they’re also perfect for me… Or other adults like me that want to send lots of love to their girlfriends even if it’s been a long time since they got to see them every day at school (and voice text about how much grocery prices have jumped). I’m sure it’s no surprise to you… Taylor Swift is trending this year! I don’t share much about my personal life here on the blog but I’m a big fan… you could call me a Swiftie 😉 I was lucky enough to attend the Era’s tour with my own friends last summer and now that the Eras tour is coming to Canada, I’m excited to be going again… this time with my niece and daughter.

It’s been so fun for us to bond over Taylor swift and all the fan theories, best lyrics, themed outfits and perhaps most of all, friendship bracelet making. 

I’ve been busy creating printable pack after pack of free printable valentines cards this last week- you can see even more of the printable selection of valentines at the bottom of the post. And since we’re sharing personal tidbits in this post today, two of the valentines cards I’m sharing this year are pretty much a cutesy version of tattoos I have. Can you guess which one from this set I might have? Haha!

While I was taking requests from the kids for printable valentines designs, my daughter (and I’m sure thousands of other little girls) requested Taylor Swift valentines to hand out to her friends at school. 

Her and I worked together, her suggesting song lyrics and me lettering them while she approved each design. We got a bit carried away and ended up creating 3 pages of these printable paper cards making for 27 different TS Valentines cards to choose from in shades of red and pink with white hand lettering. 

Now that these are ready to go, we’ll be spending our Sunday watching the Super Bowl and Travis Kelce (or ‘Taylor’s boyfriend’ as my daughter prefers to call him) while beading friendship bracelets… and maybe wearing red sweaters IYKYK;)

I’ve been a busy bee, creating printable pack after pack of free valentines cards this last week- you can see even more of the printable selection of valentines at the bottom of the post. I

created these ones for myself, actually. I have a matching bee tattoo with a few of my friends so we’re forever gifting each other bee themed gifts. I took the bee that I’d drawn to have tattooed and turned it into a sticker for the group of us and will be pairing it with these bee mine valentines cards for our Galentines party next week! 

I had so much fun creating these valentines cards, I actually created a very similar design for my twins’ first Bee-Day party invitations more almost 10 years ago, before I learned how to hand letter. It was a bit of a throw back working on these! If you’re looking for bee themed party decor to make a whole valentines party with a bee mine theme, that first bee-day party is full of ideas!

I created these simple printable cards to print 6 to one page. There’s two different sizes and two different hand drawn illustrations (a bee and a beehive!) to go with three hand lettered designs. They’re small enough that you can easily pop them in valentines card boxes in classrooms.

It’s that time of year… Valentine’s day is just around the corner and kids (and parents!) everywhere are looking at different valentine designs, choosing the perfect valentines for their school friends. Whether you’re planning in advance or are looking for a last minute valentine for preschool next week… here’s a fun printable valentine card to pair with the rare treat… a candy ring pop.

It’s the perfect small… but awesome… valentine’s gift for kids to share with their little friends. Plus, you can finish this up at the dollar store so it’s affordable too!

While we typically pass on candy valentines at our school’s request, I’m planning to give these ring pop valentine card options to my own kids as a special treat with a small gift (this year it’s slippers!). 

Let’s talk ring pops. My kids love these things, we hardly get them, usually just in Easter eggs or if others gift them for special occasions, so to pull them out a bit early? Such a fun valentines treat.

Kids of all ages love a hard candy and a ring pop is so much fun even for older kids, middle school kids and teens. Could we consider these valentines teen printables? Sure! Why not?! 😉

These rubber duckies are so darn cute I had to pick them up when I was shopping for Valentines Day treats and little non-candy valentines gifts recently. But can you blame me? They’re so adorable with the little hearts all over them, and they were an affordable valentines toy that will actually get used in the bath or hot tub by my kids.

I actually ended up picking up quite a few little goodies to make valentines cards to coordinate with. I might have gotten carried away creating printable pack after pack of free themed valentines cards this last week… but it’s been so fun! You can see even more of the printable selection of valentines at the bottom of this post.

I’m a sucker for a rubber ducky, they’re so playful and fun for bath time, the pool or hot tub. We used to go to a pumpkin patch every year that had themed rubber ducks you could buy and race. With four kids, we collected quite a few of those little guys! Over time… they’ve disappeared so when I spotted these little rubber ducks covered in hearts, I knew they would be such a fun little non-candy valentine option for our kids.

I created these simple printable cards to print 3 to one page so they’re definitely a bit bigger than most valentines cards but that leaves room to attach the duckies to the front of the card so it looks like they’re the ones saying the valentines puns! Even though they’re a bit larger, they’re still small enough that you can easily pop them in valentines card boxes in classrooms. If you did want them smaller, you can always print two to a page in your print settings.  

Here’s the three phrases found on the front of the cards, the reverse is left blank to save on ink and make for easy printing:

When I went to the store to pick up some treats for Valentines Day, I couldn’t help but picking up a few extra treats to create themed valentines day cards around. I’ve been busy creating printable pack after pack of free themed valentines cards this last week thanks to that little shopping trip- you can see even more of the printable selection of valentines I’ve shared here at the bottom of the post!

These bubble gum themed valentines cards are so nostalgic, we used to walk down to the corner store to buy bubble gum on lunch breaks in elementary school and now my kids go to school right across from that same corner store and are always asking to pop over there to make some sweet purchases.

I had fun creating these valentines cards with a playful monoline hand lettering style and bubblegum pink background. I added some bubbles, stars, and my kids favorite- a heart eyes emoji in the same style.

This style of lettering reminds me of childhood, dotting every ‘i’ with a heart and curling every ‘y’. I remember all of my friends switched to writing our ‘a’s with that little curl at the top before we got lazy in high school and switched back to a more simple writing style.

I created these simple printable cards to print 8 to one page. There’s two different hand lettered sentiments to choose from and on the reverse (page two of the document), there’s a happy valentines wish with room to address the cards to and from. They’re small enough that you can easily pop them in valentines card boxes in classrooms, even with a little bubble gum taped on!

Last year I had fun drawing these Galentines Day Cards for some of my friends inspired by our fave Schitt’s Creek character… obviously David 😉 This year I thought it would be fun to offer them as a free printable for you as well! With Father’s Day coming up, I’m excited to be sharing some funny printable father’s day cards for your husband or partner in parenting.

I love a printable card or a hand made card over the store-bought route. I think there’s something so special about homemade gifts and homemade cards and even though printable cards aren’t technically homemade, you take the time to print them off, cut them to size and fold them up and that’s showing a level of care that store-bought card just doesn’t offer. 

These happy fathers day cards are created for a dad of younger kids where really- you’re the one gifting your partner a card and gift… not those babies. It would make a great first father’s day card, I think it’s actually perfectly fit for that!

I actually created these free printable father’s day cards years ago, back when my own babies were very little. Back when my hand lettering was chicken scratch and even though they weren’t fabulously lettered, this funny father’s day card set has a special place in my heart. ​My kids have been enjoying pop its for a few years now, they seem to be a hit with every age of kids that we’ve met from young children to elementary school and even middle school. They have fun trading the mini pop its and there’s almost always one that comes into the house at birthdays from friends.

You can pair this fun valentine with an actual pop it fidget toy as a little gift and use the cards as valentine’s gift tags or you can skip the additional cost and use these digital downloads as basic printable valentines cards for your kids classrooms.

If you do add a pop toy as a fun addition and use these as valentine gift tags, you can use a hole punch and tie the pop it on to the top of the tag (this is awesome for key chains pop toys) or you can use a small cellophane bag and just tape it on to the back of the card.

I used to be such a snail mail boss. I would have cards for every occasion hitting every one of my good friends mailboxes in time for the holiday, birthday or even just for no reason. Over the years, as I have filled my plate with commitments, snail mail has kind of fallen off. But I’m determined to get back into the fun of sending mail more regularly.
