This set of free Thanksgiving gratitude printables are a great way to get kids to express gratitude and are a fun alternative to thanksgiving coloring pages.

Thanksgiving is a great time of year to focus on cultivating an attitude of gratitude in kids of all ages but also in ourselves. A few years back, I started writing down 5 things I’m grateful for on a daily basis in a gratitude journal of sorts and it helps me focus on all the good in life, it’s really changed my mindset over time. I often invite my kids to write a little list of things they’re grateful for, but writing a regular ol’ list isn’t as much fun for younger kids.

This set of gratitude activity sheets are a great reminder for older children to take note of what they are thankful for in their life. There’s four designs that you can choose from- a simple hand printed ‘I am grateful for…’, a hand written ‘my thanksgiving list’, a hand lettered ‘gratitude’ and a hand lettered ‘I’m so grateful’ option.

An aside… this year one of my grade 5s started learning cursive at school and I’m so grateful for that (ha!). I know that it’s no longer curriculum, so it’s such a pleasant surprise for me as someone who loves hand lettering so much! I know that many kids can’t read cursive so I wanted to make sure that there’s a printed option as well so there’s one for the entire family.

When our kids were really small, I used to take the kids out for a thanksgiving walk and we’d send thankful cards as a creative way to practice gratitude for younger children. At our family thanksgiving dinner, my sister-in-law used to make a thankful tree for the kids to add what they’re grateful for. 

This is another great option to help kids practice a heart of gratitude whether at home on Thanksgiving Day at the dinner table or for classroom use if you’re a teacher. Pair this with a cute thanksgiving craft and it would make such a great thanksgiving gift for parents! As a parent… who would love to get that 😉

If you’re looking for a fun and easy indoor activity to print for the kids this summer break- here’s three free printable color by numbers with a fun summer theme!

These summer color by number worksheets are such a fun activity to see what summer vacation scenes will pop up as you color in the abstract shapes in each different color. They’re a the perfect activity for a rainy day, or when your kiddos need a break from the summer heat or are for when you’re just dreaming of that summer season. 

One of the things we love to do every year is create a summer bucket list. I’ve created some printable summer bucket list templates over the years and those activities we add in there are always big and fun and almost always… outdoors!

But sometimes it’s rainy. Or sometimes it’s a heat wave and you were outside all morning. It’s always a great idea to have some easy indoor summer activities on hand, especially for younger kids and any kiddo you’d like to cut down on screen time.These printable color by number summer coloring pages are just that! 

I had so much fun creating these summer days color by number printables- I’ve never actually made any before so it was fun figuring out how to disguise the initial design I drew with extra lines. My kids were looking over my shoulder almost the whole time and approve- they’ve requested I print them off for them to do so I’m feeling pretty good about sharing them with you here!

Today I’m sharing a fun set of free camping  coloring pages with you! This set is so playful and fun and a really easy set to sit down and color. Last year I created some camping party invitations and I have really loved the playful little tent that I created for that, so I was excited to recreate that design and turn it into a camp coloring page along with some other camping pictures to make a little set we will pack into our camping bin to take along on our next camping trip! 

Speaking of that camping bin… check out my free printable camping planner which includes a camping pack list you can fill out and keep in there!

I am envisioning these as a little bit of a quiet morning activity for our happy campers (both young kids and older kids!) and a great way to keep them content a bit longer in the mornings before they wake us up to take them down to the beach! Ha!

It’s also a fun activity to pull out if you get hit with some less than ideal weather and are curled up in  cozy tents to hide from the rain or in  grandma’s trailer waiting out the wind to get another tube ride in.

And as for me? Well I’m loving the idea of coloring these with a glass of wine under the starry skies or around a roaring campfire, taking on that tent coloring page with some alcohol markers. I also recently purchased these glitter markers which I think will be so pretty for the darker blue in those night skies.

I’ve never been so excited for an album release. And honestly- if Spotify didn’t notify me, I’m not sure I would have remembered to listen to any new album in the past. But that’s different now that I’m in this Swiftie world 😉 I’m counting down the days to Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department album release later this week and to celebrate, I’m getting together with a few of my most Swiftie friends for a TTPD album release party.

I’m making some printables for that TTPD listening party and am so excited to share them with you here! You seemed to love my Taylor Swift Valentines Cards so let’s double down, shall we?

This Tortured Poets Album Release track journal is designed to be a handy place for you to pop any notes or reflections from the songs as you listen for the first time. I’m also going to be making note of any lyrics I’m excited to make bracelets for!

To keep with the TTPD theme, we’re going with the black and white sepia tint that Taylor Swift has branded the album with. Everything is very academic official looking so although you know I love hand lettering… this set of printables has none of it 😉

UPDATE: I’ve updated the file to include all of the tracks on The Anthology release! This is now a 7 page PDF document that includes all 31 tracks from The Tortured Poets Department. Enjoy!

I don’t know that I’ve ever planned… anything around an album release but friends- I’m so excited about Taylor Swift’s TTPD release later this week. As luck would have it, we’re visiting friends so I’m getting together with my two most Swiftie friends and we’ll be listening together for the first time to Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets album when it drops.

We were just going to sit together and bead… but them we decided to make invitations and bingo cards and heck- shirts! Why not make it a whole TTPD listening party?! I might have taken the idea and ran with it… and I’ve created so many fun printables for the night.

But today… today is all about the BINGO cards!

Today I’m sharing a fun set of free rainbow coloring pages with you! I illustrated these a few years back for my twins’ seventh birthday party. That was the last year they agreed to have a joint birthday party and being boy/girl twins, honestly I’m impressed they lasted that long 😉

The theme they agreed on that year was ‘rainbow’ and it was an easy going outdoor party with treats and lots of trampoline time with their friends. Their ideas are much more involved now! If you’re looking for a fun winter themed bingo game to play during these long cold days- this is for you! Today I’m sharing a winter bingo free printable set for you to download and play with your class, your kids, or… well, whoever you’re spending these winter days with! 

This This bingo set has 10 different bingo cards so if you’re playing with small groups, everyone can have their own bingo card but if you’re playing with more than 10, you’ll just need to re-use cards. 

My kids are such a fan of bingo. Whether we’re playing with cousins, grandparents or just by ourselves, they’re always down to play new bingo games. I really love that bingo is a game that even really small kids understand how to play so if you have a group of kids that range in ages- this is the perfect activity to get everyone involved!

Today I’m excited to share a winter themed set of free printable bingo cards with you… and I can’t wait to play with my kiddos this weekend! We’ll be cozying up with some hot chocolate and probably using mini marshmallows as our dot markers.

My only regret is that I didn’t have these winter bingo mats ready before the holidays when we were short on snow days, this would have been a great way to keep them busy indoors over winter break… and it’s a perfect game for quality time no matter the age of kids. 

The kids worked with me to brainstorm winter theme items like a snow shovel, hockey stick, pair of mittens, cup of hot cocoa, snowflakes and other winter time fun pictures for me to draw for these bingo boards.

Today I’m sharing a free printable holiday themed look and find activity sheet. This is a one page activity sheet with doodles I drew and arranged for kids to find multiples of the same graphic.

The black and white outlines make them perfect to color like a coloring page but with the added bonus of counting and matching shapes. These are a fun way to get even younger kids involved in a printable activity instead of the typical word searches.

As our kids have been growing, when we invite families over for gatherings… the parties are getting large. It’s not just adult friends with a couple of babies, it’s hoards of kids.

I’ve started making printable activity pages like this holiday look and find free printable and coloring pages to keep on the kids craft table in the basement to give kids an activity if they’re feeling shy or needing a quiet moment or for younger children to just color. These are awesome for our busy home full of kids, but this is also a great activity for independent work time for teachers classroom use. 

I made these holiday christmas fun doodles a few years ago for holiday coloring placemats. Lately? I’ve been using them for everything.

I mean… these holiday border papers, this printable advent activity list… I have some Christmas coloring sheet options coming up! I’m currently working on a christmas bingo game and a free printable christmas word search as well! If you have other requests for these little doodles… let me know! I’m really loving creating new printables with these cute christmas graphic arts.

But today is alll about that look and find activity. My kids love these free printable hidden pictures activity pages. And since there’s not a lot of words on here, they’re straightforward even for younger children to use and coloring the small details are so good for their fine motor skills.

Today we’re sharing this set of free printable back to school bookmarks for home reading or… well, any kind of reading. Not only are they modern with hand lettered quotes and illustrated books, they are perfect for coloring in thanks to the black and white design.

I created 5 different bookmarks to choose from in this printable. All 5 free printable book marks will print on one page… four with quotes about reading and one with just some playful illustrations of books to color in. If you recognize those illustrations, good eye!

These are the books I drew for my free printable reading tracker. What a perfect pair 😉 On that note… you could definitely use the books as a reading tracker, coloring as you go! You can see more about different ways to use a reading tracker here.

You could print these off and leave them plain rectangles or get fancy with rounded edges and hole punch space for a crafty tassel. If you do this, I definitely recommend laminating for longevity of your DIY bookmark!
